CHANGE IN ELIGIBILITY: Based on a new law, as of January 2026, all Ohio school districts are required to follow a uniform age-eligibility requirement. Children must now be five years old by the first day of their district’s instruction to enroll in kindergarten. For Finneytown, that means children must be five on or before August 19, 2026.
