Finneytown High School Student Leaders Attend Leadership Conference at the University of Cincinnati

Finneytown High School students continue to develop their leadership skills through conferences held at the University of Cincinnati. The  leadership conference held several breakout sessions, and students connected with nonprofit leaders and other high school students to support a range of causes in our community.  The breakout sessions included interactive presentations and hands-on activities related to service-learning or social impact areas. Finneytown Local School District Celebrated 2019 Homecoming With Pride and Strong Community

Finneytown Local School District celebrated Homecoming 2019 with a tremendous amount of pride in the school and teams. The three Finneytown schools celebrated with Spirit Week activities and dress-up options like crazy hat day, dress like your favorite person, and Wildcat spirit wear.  On Thursday, the community came out for the parade put on by the district. Finneytown High School House Jenga Tournament

Finneytown Secondary Campus held a House Jenga Tournament over the last couple weeks during mentor group. Mrs. Ficke’s mentor group for two of the three finalists (Marcos/JT and Aniya/Jayla) and Mr. Budday’s Jenga wizards of Bianca/Nayla competed on Monday as finalists in the tournament. Jayla Terry and Aniya Williams from Ebenezer House (Ficke’s mentor group) emerged as the high school grand champions and earned their house the highest points.
