What does my GPA mean?
GPA: grade point average
Unweighted GPA: Unweighted GPA is measured on a scale of 0 to 4.0. It does not take the difficulty of a student’s coursework into account. An unweighted GPA represents an A as a 4.0 regardless of what type of class it was earned in.
Weighted GPA: Weighted GPA takes into account course difficulty rather than providing the same letter grade to GPA conversion for every student. Weighted GPA assigns extra weight to AP, CCP and Advanced classes. It is also used for calculating class rank.
The following grading scale applies to all Finneytown classes:
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = Below 60
