For 23 years, Troy Edie has been an educator in the Finneytown Local School District. Watch the video On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Finneytown Local Schools Board of Education unanimously voted to move forward in the application process with Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and the Expedited Local Partnership Program that would assist the district in designing and building two new school buildings. It’s always a bittersweet moment as the seniors are wrapping up their time in the high school and the district. They’ve made their plans, finished their exams, and proven that hard work pays dividends. Finneytown Local School District Sixth Grader Scores in Top 10% of PSAT

Cole Kimnach took the PSAT 8/9 as a 6th grade student at Finneytown Local Schools’ Secondary Campus. He had a total score of 1160 which placed him in the 98th percentile. Though he took the test through Duke University Talent Identification Program for 4th through 6th grade students, he was recognized for scoring in the top 10 percent of the PSAT 8/9.
