Finneytown Local Schools Homecoming Parade

Finneytown Local School District will kick off Homecoming 2019 activities with the parade on Thursday, September 26 beginning at 6pm. It leaves from the south side of Northminster Church, makes a left onto Woodview Dr, a right onto Reynard Ave, right onto Winton Rd, left onto Fontainebleau Terrace, and a right into the school parking lot. Finneytown Marching Band Wins Big in First Competition of the Season

The Finneytown High School Marching Band, The Marching Wildcats, won class AAAA at the Taylor Invitational Competition over the weekend. They earned first place in each of the AAAA class categories such as Best Percussion, Color Guard, Music, Visual and General Effect.  As a result, they obtained the title “Reserve Grand Champion” overall, which is an awesome accomplishment for such a small school.  The students’ hard work allowed them to earn the highest titles among larger bands, such as Oak …
