College Credit Plus Information Night 2/6

Parents and Students looking to take classes next year for college credit: There will be a College Credit Plus Information Night during Conferences on Wednesday, February 6 at 6:30 pm in the Secondary Campus Media Center. Please plan to attend this meeting if your student(s) plan to take a CCP course next  school year. If you cannot attend the meeting, please email your student’s counselor for the very specific information.

2nd Quarter Winner and House Standings

And the House winner for 2nd Quarter House points is… House of PEM with 21 points for the quarter. They won the House Food Donation contest, the High School Trivia Contest, and the Door Decoration Contest. Finneytown Secondary Students to Perform at Holocaust and Humanity Center’s Opening

Two Finneytown students will be reading original poetry pieces at the opening of the Holocaust and Humanity Center’s grand opening this Sunday, January 27. “Our Art Department’s consistent cultivation of students’ skills helps them shine,” explained Cindy Rebman, Vice-President of Finneytown Board of Education. Finneytown Students Recognized in Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards 2019

Nineteen Finneytown High School students were recognized at the Regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recently, which is produced by the Art Academy of Cincinnati. The annual Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the nation’s most prestigious recognition initiative for creative students in grades 7-12 and the largest source of scholarships for young artists and writers in the nation. For 50 years, the National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
