As the Finneytown High School seniors prepared to graduate last week, it was going to look and feel much different than any graduation in the school’s history. The Finneytown Local School District Board of Education is accepting letters of applications for an unexpired term on the Finneytown LSD Board of Education.  Candidates must be at least 18 years old, a US citizen, a resident of the state for at least 30 days, a resident of Springfield Township for at least 30 days, and registered to vote in the Finneytown Local School District for at least 30 days. Michael Morgan After serving with the district for 35 years, Michael Morgan is retiring this summer! When Michael joined the Finneytown Local School District Maintenance department on December 17, 1985, he brought years of experience as a certified structural welder and certified electrician. During his time in Finneytown, Michael held positions as a substitute bus driver, Performing Arts Center manager and numerous technical positions for the theatre program. He was an advisor for CONNECT, a Long Range Facilities Committee member …

Finneytown High School seniors will graduate on Thursday, May 28 with the virtual ceremony beginning at 6 pm on Zoom. Families and friends of the seniors may watch the YouTube Live broadcast of the ceremony with this link: https://youtu.be/SV3gB-MiUD0. Additionally, here is a link to the program for the event. Following the virtual ceremony, graduates and their families ONLY will drive-thru to pick up their diplomas beginning at 7:30 pm.
