Dear Finneytown Families,
Unfortunately, Hamilton County was designated as Purple just now. Per our plan, all students will go to virtual learning starting Tuesday, Jan 19th until the Monday after we move back to Red. There is no school on Monday because it is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will let you know as soon as Hamilton County moves back down to Red or below. That information comes to us on Thursdays. Once it is announced on Thursday, Flex students will be able to get back to the buildings on the following Monday. This is disappointing. Please help us all bring down the numbers so we can get our children back into schools. Wear masks and practice social distancing. Thank you to all who are faithfully doing this. Don’t forget to wash/sanitize your hands frequently. In addition to helping bring the numbers down, this is keeping incidences of the flu to a minimum. Our staff are on the list in Phase 1b of the vaccine rollout. Those injections will begin in February but everyone will not get vaccinated at once. We have not yet been told when doses will be available to Finneytown.
More information will be communicated as we receive it.
