Day 30 – Gratitude

“The most beautiful gift of nature is that it gives one pleasure to look around and try to comprehend what we see.” Albert Einstein Hi Terri, This week, while speaking at the Hexagon Live 2019 conference in Las Vegas, I learned about 4Ocean. This company was started by two surfers who wanted to figure out a way to clean up the plastic in the ocean after they saw how littered the beaches and water were during a surfing trip to Bali. …

The Community Rallies to Help Finneytown Students With Meals Over Spring Break

Finneytown students and families are truly grateful to have so many businesses and volunteers willing to provide food and other donations so they have meals. Fleming Road UCC and Northminster Church, ECI/Finneytown Oasis (summer camp), and UMC Food Ministry came together to organize, gather, and distribute food to children.  In addition, several local businesses donated food to further assist the children and families. …

Day 29 – Gratitude

“If you count all your assets, you always show a profit.” Robert Quillen Hi Terri, Whew! “Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art.” Stanislaw Jerzy Lec Hi Terri, Tomorrow is a big day in my family. It’s the day that the last of my siblings turns 50. It’s almost hard to believe that Scotty, that red-haired, blue-eyed, freckle-faced little brother of mine is actually half a decade old. We will be celebrating him all weekend in Atlanta. It’s true that you can’t pick your family members. But if I had to …
