Finneytown Local Schools to Place Bond Levy on November Ballot

Watch the video On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Finneytown Local Schools Board of Education unanimously voted to move forward in the application process with Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and the Expedited Local Partnership Program that would assist the district in designing and building two new school buildings. The board voted this evening, Monday, June 17, 2019, to place a bond levy on the November 2019 ballot that would supply the money for 40% of the cost to construct the schools. …

The Class of 2019 graduated on May 30 looking toward their dreams and futures, but also reflecting on their time in Finneytown and the bonds they created. Finneytown Local Schools Community Generously Award Seniors at the Senior Awards Program

It’s always a bittersweet moment as the seniors are wrapping up their time in the high school and the district. They’ve made their plans, finished their exams, and proven that hard work pays dividends. This Finneytown High School Class of 2019 earned high accolades with achievements, awards, and scholarships at the Senior Award Program on Tuesday, May 21.  At the program, students received a total of $62,250 in scholarship money for the pursuit of post-secondary education. COSI on Wheels Takes Learning at Whitaker Elementary to a New Level

It’s Simply Chemistry! The was the COSI (Center of Science and Industry) on Wheels Outreach Program that students at Whitaker Elementary School experienced in May. The COSI educator presented the Chemistry Program to students in grades 2-5.
