Future Kindergartners Get an Early Look Through Kindergarten Camp

Incoming Kindergartners and their families visited Brent Elementary on Friday, May 4 to preview what a day in Kindergarten might be like. Students and their parents had the opportunity to visit classrooms and meet teachers, ride a school bus, visit the library and listen to a story, visit the music, art, and gym rooms, and meet with Mrs. Gerber as she shared information and expectations.
The children enjoyed lots of fun activities and thoroughly loved their time in the school and meeting new friends. “It is always exciting to see the new little people coming to school as we say goodbye to our seniors. It is often difficult to let go of those students we’ve seen grow from Kindergarten to 12th grade. It helps to see that a whole new group of eager little folks are coming our way!” exclaimed Terri Noe, Superintendent of Finneytown Local Schools.
