Finneytown Local School District Sixth Grader Scores in Top 10% of PSAT

Cole Kimnach took the PSAT 8/9 as a 6th grade student at Finneytown Local Schools’ Secondary Campus. He had a total score of 1160 which placed him in the 98th percentile. Though he took the test through Duke University Talent Identification Program for 4th through 6th grade students, he was recognized for scoring in the top 10 percent of the PSAT 8/9. He was one of only 5 students in Ohio with this special honor.  Cole will most certainly be one to watch as he progresses through middle school and into high school. Emily Styles, 6th grade Counselor at Finneytown Secondary Campus, exclaimed, “This is an amazing accomplishment and something to be celebrated,” upon learning of Cole’s recognition. Superintendent Terri Noe said she is very impressed but isn’t surprised, “Cole is an incredible young man and will do well at anything he attempts.”
